Tools for Managing to Better Workforce Results: a Tour of PerformWell
May 22, 3:00 - 4:30 EST

Webinar Details

Join us for a walk-through of PerformWell workforce development tools that can be used – and are already being used – to drive performance in the field. Marty Miles, who developed the PerformWell content while at Public/Private Ventures, will be our guide. On the tour, she and workforce practitioners will highlight tools that track some key milestones to success, for example:

  • A tool for measuring programs’ ability to create an environment that reflects the culture and expectations of the workplace (and why that is critical);
  • An employer engagement tracking tool originally created by JVS-San Francisco, with comments by Kim Drew on why and how they have used it and what they’ve learned along the way;
  • A work readiness evaluation and other tools that PerformWell users like Mira Appleby of VSP Sinai Hospital have adapted to meet their needs. Mira will speak to what the data they have captured have taught them about their programs

In this webinar, we will go beyond the question of desired employment outcomes. We will look at what programs must do well in order to produce those outcomes for their participants over time, how they can know whether they are doing them well enough, and how they can truly drive performance over time.
